The game of relationships

 

We are always using relationships, because we need them to define what we are. Our friends help us know what we "like", what we don't like. We move closer directed by desire, we move apart directed by fear.

But the "Unity Principal" has no relationship, since it is One. It knows what it is. 

It does not accept some and reject others. It does not move closer or further. Fear nor desire have no impact on it.

It plays no favourites.

If thinking is about the ego-self --then it is self-destructive, for it tries to become more and more separate from what is.

Honour your father and your mother...

Insight: as I get older I come to experience the energy of my father, as well as that of my mother, realizing that I am (at the experiential level) very much what they were at an energetic level.

When we honour them, we accept our very energy... Even when they conflict and seem to have a life of their own.

People who have not made peace with their parents, can not be at peace with themselves, because they are fighting their own energy.
